I love visiting this place and not once have I left empty handed. In my 20’s bought my first antique home and Conner’s has come to the rescue many a time through the years. Fir to match a piece of missing floor, many lovely antique doors, beautiful light fixtures, help on rewiring antique sconces, the perfect candle cover, a drawer pull to match one missing piece, a metal cover to fill a cook stove pipe hole and a chimney, help restoring antique locks and finding working skeleton keys, glass shades, latches, knobs and hinges, as well as providing a myriad of wonderful antiques and oddities. Roseville pottery, lamps, furniture, interesting wood pieces and gorgeous stained glass can be found as well as an array of bird baths. Most recently, my antique front door wouldn’t open as a mechanism in the lock failed and the knob wouldn’t pull the latch. Sid was closing shop and I was able to catch him for advice. He generously came over and helped get the door open in less than a minute. What will we do when Conners isn’t around ? This is a one of a kind gem in Lincoln.
